- Setting the PRE-GAS function
The function serves to provide a protective atmosphere before the arc is ig-
nited. Pressing the control button on the torch activates the function that is
active for the set time. After the set time has elapsed, the welding arc ignites.

- Setting the START CURRENT function
The function allows setting the starting current which is activated when the
arc is ignited. The function setting eliminates burn-through of the material
to be welded by immediately starting the main welding current. Activation is

- Setting the UP-SLOPE function
The function allows to set a continuous current increase from the START CU-
RRENT function to the main welding current. Due to this function, the begi-
nning of the weld is gradually heated and burning of the welded material is
