Disc mower

10.3 Maintenance

10.3.1 Hydro-pneumatic accumulator

Before carrying out any maintenance or
repairs on the machine, switch off the tractor
engine, remove ignition key, wait until all
moving parts have come to a standstill and
apply park brake.

Prior to carrying out work on a circuit
comprising a hydro-pneumatic accumulator,
depressurize the circuit.

It is strictly forbidden to weld, grind or drill
onto a hydro-pneumatic accumulator.

- Regularly check the tightness of the accumulator

fixing bolts and that the hydraulic circuit is leak-free
(a small oil leak can change settings).

Replace the hydro-pneumatic accumulator
every 10 years.

Checking of hydro-pneumatic accumulators:

Conform with the regulations of the

country regarding pressurized
equipment

(Hydro-pneumatic accumulator of a capacity
exceeding or equalling 1 L (0.26 US gal)).
