FILLING THE LP GAS CYLINDER(TANK):
WARNING
Allow only qu
alifi
ed licensed LP gas dealers to properly
fil
l or repair your LP gas cylinder.
New tanks should be purged prior to
fi
lling; inform LP gas dealer if you are using a new tank.
DO NOT allow the cylinder to be
fille
d beyond 80% capacity. Over
fille
d tanks can create a dangerous condi
�
on.
Over
filled
tanks can build up pressure and cause the relief valve to expel propane gas vapors. The vapor is
combus
�
ble and if it comes in contact with a spark source or
fla
me an explosion causing severe burns, bodily harm,
or death could occur.
Always use a protec
�
ve cylinder cap when grill is not connected to cylinder.
If you exchange a cylinder with a quali
fi
ed exchange program, the new cylinder must have a Type 1 valve and an
over
fi
lling preven
�
on device(OPD).
Inspect the propane tank valve rubber seal for cracks, wear or deteriora

n prior to use.
