Before using for the first time
· Please first read these operating instructions and the safety instructions
carefully.
· Remove all packing material first.
· We recommend that you wash the cover of the plate warmers before
using it for the first time but by handwash only. The cover is not suitable
for dryers. You can find additional information in Item “Cleaning and
care”.
· Ensure that the heating element lies unfolded and flat in the cover.
· Close the cover with the hook and loop closure.
Use
· Check that the supply voltage and type of current match the information
on the product. See Item “General Safety Instructions“.
· Place the plate warmer on a suitable heat resistant surface (no textiles,
etc.).
· Only use the product to warm plates. Ensure that the plates are
completely dry.
· Now, place 1 – 2 plates in the pockets of the plate warmer as needed.
In addition, you can place one plate under the plate warmer and an
additional one on top.

Caution:
In order to prevent overheating during operation, at least
one plate must be in each pocket.
· Insert the plug into a suitable outlet. Ensure that the cable is not placed
in the pockets of the plate warmer.
· Leave the plates in the plate warmer until they have reached the desired
temperature.

The plates are quickly heated to 70°C.
The precise temperature
and duration depends upon the size and number, as well as the
material of the plates. A thin, small dessert plate heats more quickly
than a thick, large dinner plate.
· When the plates have reached the desired temperature, pull the plug.
Please do not pull on the power cable, but rather only on the plug.
· Please note when removing the plates, especially if you are preheating
dessert plates, that these are hot. Use a potholder if necessary.
· Do not place the heated plates on sensitive surfaces in the kitchen or
on your dining table. Please use underplates if necessary.
· Before you store the plate warmer in the bag, please allow it to cool
completely.
Cleaning and care
· Always pull the plug and allow the plate warmer to cool before
cleaning it.
· Open the hook and loop closure and lift the heating element out of the
cover.
· Never immerse the heating element, the power cable, or the plug in
liquids or clean it in the dishwasher/ washing machine. Just wipe these
with a slightly moist rag and dry them completely as needed.
· The cover is made of 100 % cotton and suitable for handwash only.
· Please wash the cover separately because because it may lose color.
· The cover is not suitable for dryers. Please stretch into shape after
washing and dry lying flat.
· The cover has a hook and loop closure at both sides. When it has
completely dried please pull the heating element carefully inside.
