2. To set the cutting height, push and hold the mower
lift pedal in the “RAISE” position. Then adjust the
cutting height control dial to the desired height.

3. Use higher settings for mowing in a rough area or
when mowing tall grass. Lower settings should be
used only for smooth lawns where short grass is
desired.
4. Lower the mower deck by gently lowering the
mower lift pedal. This lowers the mower deck to the
“OPERATING” position.
5. Adjust the anti-scalp rollers' height as follows for
normal operating condition.
IMPORTANT :
• Never allow the rollers to contact the ground
continuously as premature roller wear may
develop if set incorrectly.
• Anti-scalp rollers must maintain a minimum
clearance of 6 mm (0.25 in.) to the ground.

deflector being in place properly.

deflector at bystanders, especially children, or
animals. Discharged objects may cause injury.
Plan your mowing carefully before starting the
operation.
• Keep bystanders and animals away from the
mowing area.
