Safety rules

Safety devices 

Before starting the excavator, all safety devices must be installed properly and operational. No manipulation of 
safety devices, e.g. the shorting of limit switches, is allowed. 
 
Protective devices may only be removed after 
 



The excavator is standing still and the engine is stopped 

 



and secured against restarting (starter switch in STOP position and key removed). 

 

 

Control lever lock for the K008-3 

If the control lever lock (1) is in the top position, the control lever 
is out of service. 
 

 

The boom swing, the driving function and the dozer 
functions are not secured by the control lever lock. 

 

 

 

 

Control lever lock for the U10-3 

If the control lever lock (1) is in the front position, the control 
lever is out of service.
