Scope of supply

The side bags can only be installed in combination with the
following items:
- Side bag carrier set (not included)
When the side bags are mounted, especially when they are
loaded, greater side wind susceptibility will cause a change in
vehicle handling characteristics while riding, taking curves, and
braking. Exercise caution in high winds.
Due to the changes in vehicle handling characteristics, acceler-
ate gradually to the permitted maximum speed of 120 km/h!
Ensure that the load never exceeds 5 kg per case!
All locks must always be locked while riding!
Use of side bags which are damaged in any way is not permit-
ted!
Make sure that all accessories and luggage items are securely
fastened. Check this regularly!
Mounting on both sides
- Mount side bag on the lower support
.
- Position catches
on the upper support.
- Swivel the side bags upwards from below, until both catches audi-
bly snap in.
Taking off side bags
- Turn key 45° in a clockwise direction.
- Press lock unit down.
The catches
open.
- Pull the side bag upward by the carry handle and remove.
NOTE
The key can only be removed in the position transverse to the direc-
tion of travel.
Information
Textile materials may undergo fading and minor changes in color if
they are exposed to intense sunlight for lengthy periods.
This effect is unavoidable despite the use of top-quality textiles, and
KTM cannot take any responsibility for such changes.
