Tires, air pressure
Tire type, tire condition, and air pressure level affect the way your motor-
cycle rides, and they must therefore be checked whenever you are getting
ready to go anywhere on your motorcycle.
– Tire size can be found in the technical specifications and in their homolo-
gation certificate
– Tire condition has to be checked every time you want to ride your
motorcycle. Before leaving, check tires for punctures and nails or other
sharp objects that might have become embedded in them.
– Tire pressure should be checked regularly on a “cold” tire. Proper pres-
sure ensures optimum driving comfort and extends the life of your tires.

Tank vent valve
The tank vent valve 1 will only work properly if mounted correctly.
The arrow must point towards the tank cap.
Empty the overflow reservoir for the fuel

be emptied after each ride.
Unscrew the drain plug

, properly dispose of the fuel and mount the drain
plug again.
Main silencer
Various inserts for the main silencer make it possible to adapt the silencer to
the permissible local loudness level, e.g. during training sessions
The power loss is minimal in the low-noise versions.
Remove the plug

, unscrew the AH screw, remove or replace the insert,
fasten with the AH screw and mount the plug.
