Hand brake lever
The hand brake lever is mounted on the right side of the handlebar.

Speedometer
The mileage indicator

can be set to 0 by means of the setting wheel

Turn the setting wheel forward until only zeros can be seen in the display.
NOTE:
Resetting your daily mileage counter to zero when refilling your tank will
make it easier for you to calculate how far you can go on one fill. This will
help you plan your refueling intervals.
Indicator lamps
The green indicator lamp flashes when the flasher light is working in
the same rhythm as the flasher light.
The green indicator lamp lights up when the gear is switched to idle.
The blue indicator lamp lights up when the high beam is on.
The red cooling liquid temperature warning lamp lights up at a coo-
ling liquid temperature of 110° C.

The red oil level warning lamp

lights up when the ignition is swit-
ched on, indicating that the oil level warning system works properly.
– If the two-stroke oil level in the oil tank is sufficiently high, the oil level
warning lamp will go out after approximately two seconds.
– If the oil level has decreased to approximately 300 ccm, the oil level
warning lamp will stay on, reminding you that the oil tank must be refil-
led with two-stroke oil within the next 100 kilometers.

Ignition lock
Switch positions of ignition lock:
OFF
= Ignition off, light off
PARK = Ignition off, light off
ON = Ignition on: engine is at standstill: parking light on, engine may
be started
engine is running: parking light on, head light on
ON = see above
The ignition key can be withdrawn in positions OFF and PARK.
