Making End Node Connection
The "
X
" type jacks can be used for connecting to end nodes such as
computers. A category 5 2-pair straight-through UTP cable must be
used for such connections. The maximum distance between the hub
and computer is 100 meters. See the following figure:

Making Hub-to-Hub Connection
For making a hub-to-hub connection, select one "X" type jack and
connect to the "4I" type jack of another hub. See the following figure:
