Pre-charge pressure
The pre-charge pressure in the accumulator should be set to a
value which is 10% lower than the set start-up pressure.
The setting can be effected via a valve located under the cover
at the top of the accumulator.

Recommendation
Fill the accumulator with nitrogen only (risk of corrosion).
The stated values are average values. Tests on accumulators
have shown that
pressures >3 bar for factor 0.9 and
pressures <3 bar for factor 0.8
result in the best storage volumes.
Example :
