Fifth page of Setup menu 

 

On the fifth page you have the possibility of protecting access to the Setup menu by 
using  a  password.  You  can  also  return  all  the  Setup  settings  to  the  default  values 
defined by KRÜSS. 

10.5.1

 

Password 

The  password  can  be  used  to  prevent  alterations  being  made  in  Setup  without  your 
knowledge and therefore avoid faulty measurements as a result of unsuitable settings. 
If you enter a password and then exit Setup, then the password will be requested the 
next time that Setup is called up.

You must not forget the password. All users who require access to Setup should be 
informed of it. Once you have defined a password it is impossible to open Setup 
without this password and it is not possible to switch off the password function or 
alter the password outside Setup. If the password is lost then  you must re-install 
the K11 Firmware. 

10.5.2

 

Set defaults

 is selected then the user-

defined Setup settings will be used. If 

Yes

 is selected then all user-defined settings will 

be  deleted  and  the  default  values  defined  by  KRÜSS  will  be  reset.  This  takes  place 
immediately after the selection of 

Yes

 and not when the 

Setup

 menu is exited.

There is no possibility of saving the user-defined settings. If you reset the settings 
to the default settings then user-defined settings can only be reset be entering them 
manually.
