10.4 Fourth page of the setup menu
This where the general data concerning the measurement are entered; these then
appear on the printout and on transfer to the computer.
• Under
text fields
you can define the number of text fields to be used (max. 3). In
LabDesk you can assign names to these text fields (e.g. “Sample” or “Batch”) which
are then shown in the generated data records. When drawing up a measurement
you can then assign the data for an individual measurement to these fields.
• The name of your
company
, the
time
and the
date
can be entered in succession.
• The time is entered as six numbers without separators; the first two positions are
for the hours, positions 3 and 4 for the minutes and positions 5 and 6 for the
seconds. If the number to be entered is smaller than 10 then a '0' must first be
entered. To set the time “6 hours, 23 minutes and 3 seconds“ you should therefore
enter the numerical sequence “062303“.
• The date is entered similarly but with 8 numbers. Positions 1 and 2 stand for the
day, positions 3 and 4 for the month and positions 5-8 for the year. This means that
14 July 2007 has the numerical sequence 14072007.
