WARRANTY PROCEDURE
Compu-TTY, Inc. warrants that the Tactile Ring Signaler sold by Krown Manufac-
turing, Inc. is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
and service for one year. This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser
of the Tactile Ring Signaler when accompanied by a sales receipt stating the date
of purchase and the name of the company from which it was purchased. This
warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties, expressed or implied, in-
cluding any implied warranty of merchantability or fi tness and of any obligation
on the part of Krown Manufacturing, Inc. If the Tactile Ring Signaler shall prove
defective, then Krown Manufacturing, Inc. shall either replace or repair the Tac-
tile Ring Signaler at no cost to the original purchaser within one year of the date
of purchase. During the one-year period you may return the Tactile Ring Signaler
to Compu-TTY, Inc. at the following address:

Shipping charges are at the customer’s expense. Please include a check or mon-
ey order made out to Krown Manufacturing in the amount of $10.00 to cover
shipping and handling. This warranty does not extend to any Tactile Ring Signaler
sold by Krown Manufacturing, Inc., which has been subject to misuse, neglect,
accident, improper application or installation, or any use in violation of the in-
struction furnished by Krown Manufacturing, Inc. This warranty does not extend
to or apply to any Tactile Ring Signaler, which has been repaired or altered by any
persons who have not been expressly approved by Krown Manufacturing, Inc.
This warranty does not apply to the Tactile Ring Signaler if it has been damaged,
modifi ed, abused or altered after the date of purchase or it fails to operate due
to improper maintenance or inadequate DC power.
In no event shall Krown Manufacturing, Inc. be liable for loss of this product or for
any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, personal injury, prop-
erty damage, or cost or expenses incurred by the consumer or any other user
of this product. This warranty is only applicable to a product purchased through
Krown Manufacturing, Compu-TTY or a Krown dealer. Other than stated herein,
there is no other warranty whether by the sample or model, by description or
quantity, whether expressed or implied, and there are no implied warranties of
fi tness for a particular purpose or of merchantability.

ISTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
Al usar su Señal Táctil de Timbre, las medidas de seguridad básicas
deben ser seguidas siempre para reducir el riesgo del fuego, de la des-
carga eléctrica y de lesión de las personas incluso el siguiente:
1. Lea y entienda todas las instrucciones.
2. Siga todas las advertencias e instrucciones marcadas en el
transmisor y el pager.
3. No utilice el transmisor o el pager cerca de la tina de una
bañera, del lavabo, del fregadero de la cocina o del lavadero, en
un sótano mojado, cerca de una piscina o en cualquier otro lugar
que sea agua.
4. No utilice el aparato de telecomunicación con este transmisor
para reportar un gas escápese en la vecindad del escape.
5. Desenchufe el transmisor de los enchufes de pared, y el pagerde
la cuerda del adaptador antes de limpiar. No utilice los
limpiadores líquidos o los limpiadores del aerosol en el aparato
de telecomunicación. Utilice un paño húmedo para la limpieza.
6. Ponga el aparato de telecomunicación con el transmisor en una
superfi cie estable. El daño y/o lesión serios pueden resultar si
cae el aparato de telecomunicación.
7. El aparato de telecomunicación con el transmisor nunca se debe
poner cerca o encima de un radiador o en un registro caliente.
Este aparato de telecomunicación no se debe poner en una
instalación incorporada a menos que se proporcione la
ventilación apropiada.
8. Recargue este pager usando el voltaje eléctrico según lo
indicado en la unidad bajo el manual del propietario. Si usted no
está seguro del voltaje en su hogar, consulta con su distribuidor
o a la compañía local de energía eléctrica.
9. No ponga cualquier cosa en el cable eléctrico. Instale el aparato
de telecomunicación con el transmisor adonde nadie caminará o
pisará en el cable eléctrico.
10. No sobrecargue los enchufes de pared o las cuerdas de la
extensión como esto puede aumentar el riesgo del fuego o del
choque eléctrico.
11. Nunca empuje cualquier objeto a través de las ranuras en el
transmisor o el pager, como conmover lugar del voltaje peligroso
o tocar las piezas en cortocircuito podría resultar en fuego o
choque eléctrico. Nunca derrame líquido de cualquier clase en el
transmisor y el pager.
12. Para reducir el riesgo del choque eléctrico, no separe el
transmisor y pager en piezas. Abrir o quitar las cubiertas le
puede exponerle a los voltajes peligrosos u otros riesgos. Montar
de nuevo incorrecto puede causar descarga eléctrica cuando el
aparato esta utilizado posteriormente.
