BATTERY INSTALLATION
TRS-100 Pager
Install one 8.4V rechargeable battery into the battery compartment in
the back of TRS- 100 pager. The batteries are used for operation. They
power the TRS-100 pager for approximately 48 hours standby. Do not
use Alkaline batteries, they will damage your TRS-100 pager.
Setting up the Tactile Phone Signaler
TRS-100 Transmitter
1. Plug the TRS-100 transmitter into the 2nd telephone jack of a
telecommunication device. If your telecommunication device
does not have an available jack for use, then use a telephone
duplex adapter.
2. Turn on the transmitter by pushing the switch up on top.
TRS-100 Pager
1. Locate the On/Off switch on the top of the pager. The “ON”
position is located the closest to the side of the top. Push the
switch to “ON” position to turn it on.
2. You can wear it by using the belt clip on the pager. It vibrates
when the transmitter is activated by an incoming call.
Charging the pager
When the battery is getting low, one LED on the top will fl ash and
vibrate in pulse pattern. Then you should charge your pager with the
TRS-100 adapter.
When the adapter is connected for charging, the low battery LED on
top will turn on to indicate that the battery is in charging condition. Al-
low at least 4 hours of charging before using the pager.

controles que sean cubiertos por las instrucciones de
funcionamiento. El ajuste incorrecto puede requerir el trabajo
extenso de un técnico cualifi cado para restaurar el aparato
de telecomunicación con el transmisor y el pager a la
operación normal.
• Si se ha caído el transmisor o el pager o si el cubierto
esta dañado.
• Si el transmisor o el pager exhibe un distinto cambio
en funcionamiento.
14. Nunca instale este transmisor durante una tormenta
de relámpago.
15. Nunca instale los gatos del aparato de telecomunicación en
lugares mojados a menos que el gato sea diseñado
específi camente para los lugares mojados.
16. Nunca toque los alambres o los terminales sin aislar el aparato
de telecomunicación a menos que la línea del aparato de
telecomunicación se haya desconectado en el interfaz de la red.
17. Tenga cuidado cuando está instalando o modifi cando las líneas
del aparato de telecomunicación.
18. Utilice solamente el cable eléctrico y las baterías indicadas en
este manual. No disponga las baterías en el fuego. Pueden
estallar. Chequea con los códigos locales para saber la
posibilidad de instrucciones especiales de disposición.
