LOW BATTERY WARNING
When the battery is low, the handset
will send a low-battery tone and
“LOW BATTERY” message on the
display. Replace the handset to the
base and let it charge. Practice to
discharge the battery pack once a
month.
INITIALIZATION AND STANDY MODE
After installing battery (handset) and plug A/C adaptor (base unit), the phone goes
directly to standby mode. Manufacturer default settings will be applied. The display
shows handset name or time. The charge/In Use LED, and ring indicator will flash
once.
INSTALLING HANDSET BATTERIES
The handset uses a rechargeable 600mAh, 3.6V, Ni-Cd (Nickel Cadmium) battery
pack.
To install the handset batteries:
1. Slide the battery compartment
cover off.
2. Insert the battery pack into the
compartment. Plug the battery
connector into the socket.
3. Replace the battery cover.
CHARGING HANDSET
Place the handset in the handset cradle of the base unit. Allow the handset to
charge up to 14 hours or overnight before use.
