Belt Drive

15 Belt drive

15.1 Ventilation wheel drive

Replacing the V-belts (1):

Relax the spring (2) of the tension pulley (3).

Remove the V-belt.

The belt pulleys (4) have to be exactly aligned.

Adjust the belt pulleys (4), if necessary using screws.

Apply new V-belts. Tighten the tension pulley spring

a = 200

Make sure the fan blade is in a central

position in the radiator cover

15.2 Deployments arms

When the deployment arm is on the right, the loaded

length of spring should be

a = 95 mm

When it is on the left, the loaded

length of spring should be

a = 95 mm
