3.5 Equipotential bonding system
Connect the device to the equipotential bonding system for the hazardous location.
3.5.1 MS15 series
You can use the external ground terminal or the internal ground connection of the housing to
connect the device to the equipotential bonding system.
You can also use the ground terminal of the BM26A series bypass level indicator to connect the
device to the equipotential bonding system. Make sure that there is a good electrical connection
(resistance < 1 ohm) between the measuring chamber and the limit switch.
3.5.2 MS40 series
You can use the ground terminal of the bypass level indicator to connect the device to the
equipotential bonding system. Make sure that there is a good electrical connection (resistance
< 1 ohm) between the measuring chamber and the limit switch.
