The safety of the underwater lights
supplied shall only be guaranteed if
they are used in accordance with the
schematics on pages 28÷35. The
operating conditions and limits stated in
this manual must under no circumstances
be exceeded (chapter 1.2 Technical
Characteristics and 5.4 Warnings).
Compliance with legislation on safety
standards in the relevant country is
obligatory.
3.2
Ensure that the underwater lights have
been selected appropriately for the
application for which they are to be
used, and that their condition, installation,
start-up and subsequent use are
correct. See chapter 1.2 (Technical
Characteristics).
3.3
Installations, repair and maintenance
opertaions must always be carried out
with the underwater lights disconnected
from the electricity supply.
3.4
The underwater light should not be
moved, or its position adjusted, while it
is un use. It must always be disconnected
form the electricity supply before
operations of this kind are carried out.
3.5
The electrical connection/disconnection
or safety devices must not be actuated
in the presence of moisture. Special
care must be taken to avoid damp on
the operator’s hands, footwear or other
contact surfaces.
3.6
The necessary spares must be the
manufacturer’s original or recommended
parts. Use of other parts or originals
that have been modified by third parties
is not allowed and shall
free
the
manufacturer from all liability.
