Installing and removing the auxiliary
handle
Ensure that the tool is turned off and unplugged.
Locate the threaded holes on each side of the
angle polisher. Screw firmly the auxiliary handle

in one of them (fig 3).

Before using the tool
Ensure that accessory is correctly mounted
and firmly tightened.
Check if accessory runs freely by turning it by
hand.
Test-run tool for at least 30 seconds at high
-
est no-load speed in a safe position.
Stop immediatley in case of considerable
vibration or other defects and check tool to
determine the cause.
Using the tool
Switching ON and OFF
Your angle grinder switch is locked off to prevent
accidental starting. To switch the tool on, first push
the safe start button

, then push the ON / OFF
switch

. To turn the tool off, release the ON / OFF.
Speed adjustment
The tool is equipped with an adjustment wheel

(fig 4) for maximun or minimum speed. Turn the
adjustment wheel

to adjust the maximum or
minimum speed.

WARNING:
T
he disc continues to turn for a few seconds even though
the switch is turned off. Keep your hands well away from
the moving disc.
Install the polishing plate and apply the polishing
paste evenly over the surface. Hold the tool on
the surface which is to be polished and turn on
the machine. Move the machine evenly over the
polishing surface without putting pressure.
Follow all the precautions in this manual and keep
a steady even pressure when you work. Remem
-
ber that there is always the possibility that the disc
could fracture so do not force the tool.

hen you have finished, switch off and unplug
the tool.

5. Maintenance
For safe and proper working, always keep the
tool and ventilation slots clean.
Τhe tool may be cleaned most effectively with
compressed dry air.
Always wear safety goggles
when cleaning tools with compressed air.
Certain cleaning agents and solvents dam
-
age plastic parts.
Some of these are: gasoline,
carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents,
ammonia and household detergents that contain
ammonia.
The brushes and commutator in your tool have
been engineered for many hours of dependable
service. To maintain peak efficiency of the motor,
we recommend every two to six months the
brushes be examined.
