Cooking recommendations :

Place the appliance on a flat, rigid surface. Do not use it on a heat-sensitive support.
▪
With the irons previously seasoned (see the section
Seasoning the Irons
), start heating
the appliance
–
set the thermostat to 200°C
–
with the irons closed.
▪
Wait for about 15 minutes for the irons to reach 200°C.
▪
Set the irons to the open position.
▪
Using a food-safe brush, oil all parts of the irons.
▪
For Belgian waffles, use a ladle or jug to fill the irons on one side until the tops of the
grid outlines are covered.
▪
For Liège waffles, place the batter pieces in the iron.
▪
Close the irons immediately and tightly together using the handles. Rotate the irons
to cook the liquid batter (except for waffle irons that open to 90°).
▪
Let cook in this position for 3-4 minutes, according to the type of waffle, the texture
of t
he batter and your irons’ temperature (adju
st the time after a few tests).
▪
Delicately lift the top plate and remove the waffles using a waffle pick.
▪
Place the waffles on a grill so they don’t get soft.
