9.2.1 Downloading from the Internet
To download the latest file

1. Go to our Web site at
from the Internet to your PC:
http://www.Kramerelectronics.com
2. From the technical support section, download the file:
SetKFRETH11-xx.zip
.
3. Extract the file “
SetKFRETH11-xx.zip
” (that includes the
KFR-Programmer application setup and the
.s19
firmware file) to a folder
(for example, C:\Program Files\KFR Upgrade).
4. Install the KFR-Programmer Application.
9.2.2 Connecting the PC to the RS-232 Port
To connect a PC
to the RS-232 port of the
VS-121HCA
:
1. Power the
VS-121HCA
OFF.
2. Connect a serial cable from the
VS-121HCA
RS-232
9-pin D-sub rear panel
port to a PC as explained in section
7.2.1
.
3. On the back panel of the device, press the ETH PROG switch inward using a
small screwdriver (see
Figure 1
).
4. Power the
VS-121HCA
ON.
