In the above table, the parentheses ( ) indicate the type of source that can be used for each AMS.
For example, the “AMS” value for OSC1 Pitch (PROG 3.1–1a) can be [Off, (FEG, AEG, EXT)] (

p.10). This means that you can 

select Off, and (FEG), (AEG), or (EXT) sources.

CC#: This is the control change number.
*: This indicates a controller or a function assigned to a controller on the TRITON/TRITONpro/TRITONproX. The controller 

and the type of MIDI messages it transmits will depend on the type of connected MIDI instrument.
