5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
The body of the appliance is equipped with electronic
components necessary for the cooking process, so never soak it in
water and/or never wash it under water current!
ATTENTION!
Before proceeding with cleaning the appliance, make
sure that the power cord plug is removed from the power outlet and
that the main body has cooled completely.
1) Clean the appliance after each use: to facilitate the cooling process
of the main body remove the basket and frying compartment from it.
2) Wash the basket and frying compartment with water and dish-wa-
shing detergent. Prevent water from entering the basket handle and
front panel of the frying compartment.
3) Do not wash the frying compartment or basket in dishwasher and/
or use abrasive materials as these are coated with non-stick material
that can be damaged by such washing methods.
4) Clean the main body of the appliance only with a damp cloth and
do not use any kind of soap.
5) If necessary, clean the residue in the main body frying compart-
ment housing as follows: wait for the appliance to cool down comple-
tely, proceed to clean only with a slightly damp cloth and immediately
after dry completely using a dry cloth.
6) Do not immerse the power cord, plug or body of the appliance in
water or other liquids in order to avoid hazards of fire, electric shock,
or damage to persons.
7) Gently proceed to dry the washed parts using a dry cloth, then as-
semble all the components of the appliance again for the next use.
Tip
: if there is persistent fat/dirt on the bottom of the frying compart-
ment, pour a sufficient amount of hot water and wait for about 10 mi-
nutes, then add a suitable amount of dish soap and proceed to clean
it with a non-abrasive sponge.
