RESTRICTIONS
PERFORMING THE MEASUREMENT
In the calculation of the values, the scale also includes standard factors
regarding the percentage of the parts of the body in addition to the me-
asured values and the individual profile data. Therefore, in case of major
deviations from the standard, implausible values may be shown. This
may occur, for instance, for:
- Children under the age of 10
- Competitive athletes, extremely trained muscles
- Fever
- Osteoporosis
- Persons in dialysis care
- Illnesses with oedemas
- Intake of cardiovascular medication (regarding heart and blood vessels)
- The intake of vasodilatory or vasocon strictive medication
- Severe anatomic deviations of the length of legs compared to the ove-
rall body height
- Medical implants such as artificial joints or materials stabilising broken
bones (metal plates, screws) inserted via surgery.
1. Press the button surface SET 2. The scale is switched on. Displayed
is the menu for the profile settings. On the dis- play 3 the profile number
flashes behind P.

4. Stand on both measuring surfaces 1 with your bare feed to that the
feet and legs do not touch anywhere. Keep standing quietly and upright.
First the weight is measured (kg/lb/st: lb flashes). Afterwards the display
3 shows oooo while the measurement is performed.
• Weigh yourself undressed.
• The measurement can only be performed in bare feet.
• The feet should not be too dry. Very dry foot soles or those with a thick
layer of callused skin should be moistened slightly.
• During the measurement, the feet and legs must not touch anywhere.
• Distribute the body weight evenly on both legs.
• Stand upright and quietly.
