CLEANING
1. Make sure unit is unplugged before cleaning. Allow parts to COOL
to the touch. Tower, auger, and base can get VERY HOT.
2. Before first use and continuing after each use, be sure to wash the
tower and auger thoroughly. AVOID washing parts in the
dishwasher.
3. To make cleaning easier, carefully remove the tower and auger (after
cooling), wipe off remaining chocolate with paper towels. Soak in hot
water for 5 minutes, then wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry.
DO NOT POUR OUT EXCESS OR LEFTOVER CHOCOLATE DOWN
DRAIN OR IN TOILET. POUR IN PLASTIC BAG OR DISPOSABLE
CONTAINER THEN INTO GARBAGE.
4. Carefully pour out as much remaining chocolate from the base bowl
as you can. Use damp sponge or cloth to wipe clean the remainder
in the base bowl and along the outside of the unit. Wipe dry with a
non-abrasive towel.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem: Chocolate is not flowing smoothly
Possible Cause: Chocolate is too thick; thin with warmed cooking oil
Possible Cause: Unit is not level; level as per instructions.
Problem: Chocolate is not “sheeting” as it flows
Possible Cause: Unit is not level; level as per instructions.
Problem: Flow is not consistent
Possible Cause: Blockage in the Basin Bowl by large pieces of
chocolate or dropped food parts; remove any solid
pieces from the basin bowl.
Problem: Nothing turns on
Possible Cause: Unit is not properly plugged in.
