Setting up the Monitor
The RMX-1U15L and RMX-9U15L monitors are designed specifically for a rack mount enclosure or
other types of industrial enclosures. This section describes how to set up the RMX-1U15L and
RMX-9U15L monitors, which includes the following:
J Unpack the monitor
J
Mount the monitor in a rack
J Check that a video card and the video software driver are already installed in your
system
J Connect the monitor to a computer
J
Power on the monitor and test your setup
J Install the touchscreen software (touchscreen models only)
J
Calibrate the touchscreen (touchscreen models only)
When choosing your workspace, select a sturdy, level surface. Also, make sure you can easily
access the back, front, and bottom of the monitor and the back of the computer. Easy access
helps ensure a smooth setup of the monitor.
