Installation Precautions
In addition, take note of these installation precautions when appropriate:
J
When you disconnect the power cable from the socket, pull on the plug not the
cord.
J Always connect the power cable to a properly wired and grounded power source.
Do not use adapter plugs or remove the grounding prong from the cable.
J
Install the unit near an AC outlet that is easily accessible.
J
Only use a power cord with a voltage and current rating greater than the voltage
and current rating marked on the unit.
J Always connect any equipment used with the monitor to properly wired and
grounded power sources. Be sure to tighten all connector screws.
J
Reliable earthing of this equipment must be maintained. Particular attention
should be given to supply connections when connecting to power strips, rather
than direct connections to the branch circuit.
J
Do not connect or disconnect this product during an electrical storm.
J
Do not place any object on the cables that might cause the cables to make sharp
bends or that affect the integrity of the cables. Be sure that cables are not located
where they can be stepped on or tripped over.
J
Route all wiring and cabling away from heat sources and sharp metal edges to
avoid damage.
J Keep the monitormonitor away from direct sunlight, direct heat, and humidity.
Hot air may cause damage to the cabinet and other parts.
