7.1. System Mounting
In order to adapt the KBox F-420-WLU for mounting Kontron offers different mounting solutions such as:
 KBox F-420-WLU configuration with a VESA mounting kit for vertical installation onto a wall / the back of a
monitor or into a control cabinet / custom enclosure / machine
 KBox F-420-WLU configuration with a VESA mounting kit compatible with Intel® NUC mini PC for vertical
installation onto a wall / the back of a monitor or into a control cabinet / custom enclosure / machine
 KBox F-420-WLU as desktop unit
7.1.1. VESA Mounting (1)
Depending on the ordered KBox F-420-WLU configuration, your system may be supplied with a VESA mounting kit
(Figure 11). The kit consists of a VESA mounting bracket (Figure 11, pos. 1) to be fixed permanently on the mounting
surface and four M4x8 screws (Figure 11, pos. 2) to secure the VESA mounting bracket on the mounting surface.

The mounting bracket complies with VESA 75 and VESA 100 patterns (Figure 12). To fasten the bracket, the control
cabinet / custom enclosure / machine / monitor / wall must have VESA 75 or VESA 100 screw pattern shown as
Figure 12 for mounting.
