7.1.1.
Inserting and Removing the CF card
The on-board CompactFlash™ slot allows the operation of a CompactFlash™ card type I. The access cover of the
CompactFlash™ slot is located at the rear side of your CB 752 platform.
Before opening the CF card access cover to insert or to remove a CompactFlash™ card, the system must be
switched off and disconnected from the main power supply. Also disconnect peripheral devices from the
CB 752!
7.1.1.1.
Inserting the externally accessible CompactFlash™ Card
To install the CompactFlash™ card, please perform the following steps:
1.
Switch off the system and disconnect it from the AC or DC main power supply.
2.
Loosen the knurled screws (Fig. 12, pos. 7) that secure the CF slot access cover (Fig. 12, pos. 6) to the chassis.
3.
Remove the CF slot access cover.
4.
Insert the CompactFlash™ card with the connectors facing forward into the CF slot (Fig. 15).
5.
Press the CompactFlash™ card carefully into the CF card slot as far as it will go.
6.
Insert the laces of the CF card access cover into the centering notches of the chassis. Secure the CF slot access cover
with the knurled screws by tightly fastening the screws.

Removing the externally accessible CompactFlash™ Card
To remove the CompactFlash™ card, please perform the following steps:
1.
Switch off the system and disconnect it from the AC or DC main power supply.
2.
Loosen the knurled screws (Fig. 12, pos. 7) that secure CF slot access cover (Fig. 12, pos. 6) to the cover.
3.
Remove the CF slot access cover.
4.
To remove the CF card, press the eject button (Fig. 15, Pos. 2).
5.
Remove the CF card from the CF slot and from the device.
6.
Insert the laces of the CF card access cover into the centering notches of the chassis. Secure the CF slot access cover
with the knurled screws by tightly fastening the screws.
During operation the CF slot access cover must be attached and secured with the knurled screws.
