6) Select “Add a new hardware device” from the bottom of the list presented and click
“Next.”
7) Select “Install the hardware that I manually select from a list” and Click “Next.”
8) Select “Ports (COM & LPT)” and Click “Next”.
9) Select “(Standard Port Types)” and “Communications Port” (the defaults), and click
“Next.”
10) CLick “Next”.
11) Click the “View or change resources for this hardware (Advanced)” link.
12) Click the “Set Configuration Manually” button.
13) Select “Basic Configuration 8" from the “Settings Based on:” drop-down list.
14) Select “I/O Range” in the “Resource Settings” box and Click the “Change Settings...”
button.
15) Enter the base address of the board, and click “OK”
16) Select “IRQ” in the “Resource Settings” box and Click the “Change Settings” button.
17) Enter the IRQ of the board and Click “OK”.
18) Close the “Set Configuration Manually” dialog and Click “Finish.”
19) Click “Do Not Reboot.”
20) Repeat all of the above steps, entering the same IRQ but using the Base 8 for
the I/O Range, and reboot the system normally.
