How do I setup PTZ camera? 

Please refer to 

Chap 8. PTZ Control

 

How “covert setting” does works? 

For user who login as “Supervisor” or “Operator” will not 
seeing the covert videos. 

Where do I change control port /   
data port / HTTP port? 

1. Go to “Network Setup”. 
2. Go to “Adv” 

*Note: default control port is 67; Data port is 68; HTTP 
port is 80*. 

Does email send with video? 

Email only sends with event photo. 

What file will FTP received? 

FTP will receive the event video file. 

Standalone Backup function 

USB HDD/flash drive not detect 

Please format USB HDD/flash drive to FAT32/FAT file 
system by Microsoft system. The backup device has to be 
connected by the system software 
before it can be used to read/write. If it failed to connect, 
please unplug the device, and then plug the device in the 
USB port again. 

I have connected standalone with a USB 
DVD writer. But if I insert CD disc the 
standalone would not detect it. 

DVD backup only support DVD disc not CD disc. 
*Note: DVD+RW, DVD+R, and DVD-R are support 
(DVD-RW is not supported.)*.   

If I backup videos by smart search the 
videos are very short but when I backup 
from search by event the video seems 
longer? 

If user needs to back up videos from smart search it’s 
recommend user to use search by time function to back up 
the specific periods. 

How do I backup configuration? 

Backup configuration from IE:   
1. Click on “Device Config” option. 
2. Click on “Properties” button. 
3. Click on “Save” button. (save the configuration to a 
select folder) 
Backup configuration from Standalone: 
1. USB flash driver must be connected by software. 
2. In “Backup Device” function select Backup. 

Remote Access Standalone 

How do I view 2 or more Standalone 
device in one screen layout? 

1. Click on “Device Config” option. 
2. Click on “Add” button. 
3. Enter the IP address, name of device (any), login user 
name and password for this device. 
4. Click on “Link to 25win” layout option. 

*Note: Both the device must be able to access with IE
