WHEN MOUNTING SPEAKERS and STRADDLING STAND
- NOTE!
The pneumatic spring makes it much easier to position a heavy weight.
Nonetheless, do not underestimate the weight of the speaker (max. 50 kg)!
- Attaching and moving of the load should be done by trained installers.
- While moving the load hold the extension in a safe and firm way.
- Secure the extension with the locking pin.
- NEW: the extension ends in a cone.
- NEW:
This would be helpful to attach the load.
MAINTENANCE
MOVING
Involved Persons:
FI - First Installer:
holds the loaded extension
SI - Second Installer:
handles locking knob and locking pin
Action:
FI
1
holds the extension firmly
SI
2
loosens the locking knob
3
pulls the head of the locking
3
pin until the extension is
3
able to move
FI
4
move the (pneumatic spring
4
aided) extension complete with
4
speaker into approximately the
4
right position
4
NOTE: for easier finding of
4
the pin hole this hole should
4
be seen for a moment above
4
the clamp
SI
5
unhands the head of the
5
locking pin so it´s able to
5
atch into the hole of the
5
extension
FI
6
lowers the extension
6
slowly until the locking
6
pin is latching into the
6
hole
SI
7
tightens the locking knob
Remove the load in reverse order.
NOTE:
The locking pin
3
can be unlocked by pulling and turning the knob through 90°.
This makes it easier to retract the extension and speaker if only one installer is available.
To ensure that the extension retracts slowly, the frictional force on the clamping mechanism has to be
reduced gently. To do this carefully loosen the locking knob
2
.
- Handle the stand with care.
- Maintain only in unloaded mode.
-For cleaning use a damp cloth and
-
a non-abrasive cleaner.
