SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

18804 Trolley for digital upright pianos

 

INTENDED USE 
The 11804 Trolley is a flexible base for digital upright pianos, making them mobile on 
stage, in a studio, rehearsal room and in your home. 
Furthermore, the trolley is not only suited for transport but thanks to the low storage 
height (25 mm), you can leave the digital upright pianos on the trolley while playing. 
FEATURES and CAPABILITIES 
- The Trolley is, as far we know, suited for all current digital upright pianos 
- Stepless variable width (1038-152 5mm) and depth (304-526 mm) 
- The Trolley glides smoothly on eight high-quality casters:

 - ø 50 x 18 mm, - ball bearing, - steel housing, - TPE rubber tyres 

-

 - two of the casters are fitted with a brake and can be locked and fixed using  

-

 

-

 your foot

SAFETY NOTES

1. COMPONENTS

 

Please visually inspect whether all parts are  
complete and in order, as far as recognisable.  
The trolley is largely pre-assembled and consists of: 

a

 Caster bracket small, right (2 casters, 1x lockable)

 Caster bracket small, left (2 casters, 1x lockable) 

c

 Caster bracket, left (2 casters) 

d

 Caster bracket right (2 casters) 

e

 Connecting angle  

ACCESSORY BAG:

  4x Protective caps SW8 ø 11 mm (to cover the side threads)  

g

 2x Locking nut M5                                              

h

 2x washer ø 5,3/15 mm  

i

  2x Carriage bolt M5 x 15 mm

 spanner SW8/SW13

2x Felt pad d=5 mm, self-adhesive (for:

 4x Felt pad d=2 mm, self-adhesive (for:

2.-8. ASSEMBLY and HANDLING

 

2. ASSEMBLING the two sets of SCREWS (g-h-i)

 Each of the two caster brackets

 is initially fastened to the connecting

 angle

 with only one screw

 Push both caster brackets

 apart a little.

 Remove the two sets of screws

 from the accessory bag and now

 fasten both caster brackets to the connecting angle

 with a second

 screw connection. 

3. PREPARE the TROLLEY

 

3.1

 Lay the trolley with the caster wheels pointing upwards.

 Remove the side protective caps

 NOTE: In case of initial installation, these caps

 Loosen all 12 locking nuts

 (approx.1 turn) with spanner SW8

 Carefully put the trolley back on its casters 

4. DEPTH SETTING

  

4.1

 Measure the depth of the digital upright piano and extend the two

   caster brackets, small

 accordingly (max. 526 mm).  

4.2

 Tighten the four side locking nuts

 finally press on the four protective caps

5. WIDTH SETTING

 Measure the width of the digital upright piano and extend the two

 caster brackets

 accordingly (max. 1525 mm). 

6. FIX the SELECTED SETTING

 Turn the trolley again with the caster wheels pointing upwards.

 NOTE: To ensure that the selected DEPTH

 and WIDTH

 are not

NOTE:

 unintentionally shifted, we recommend working with two persons

 Tighten the eight remaining locking nuts

 with spanner SW8

 Place the trolley back on its casters.

 Press the caster locks

. As soon as they click in place the trolley is

 secured against unintentional rolling away. 

GENERAL

 

- Please consider the information provided in the setup instructions. 
- Please also follow the individual digital upright piano safety instructions. 
- The option that the product is adjustable, can result in the risk of pinching/wedgingof your fingers.  

-

 Careful and attentive handling during setup, operation, and disassembly is indispensable. 

- Protect against moisture or, if necessary, promptly dry components 

OPERATION

 

- Prior to use check to ensure that the system is fully functional and complete. 
- Damaged parts must be repaired or replaced prior to use. 
- Ensure that the stand is stable prior to use - This is insured through adjusting the trolly to the  

-

 respective dimensions of the various instruments.  

- Ensure that the screws are tight on all of the involved products. 
- During transport the ensemble may only be moved by ensuring that the digital upright piano is being  

-

 held manually 

- Do not place the trolley (even unloaded) on an inclined plane. 
- When using the trolly stationary, both caster brakes must be locked. 
- In the case of poor surfaces (soft surfaces, inclined planes, stairs, obstacles among others) please  

-

 be particularly careful. This applies to both transport and stand operation (possible hazards are:  

-

 vibrations, rolling, tipping, bumping).     

- Placement of the feet on to the trolley this not permitted.  
- To care for the product, use a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning agent.
