5.9 Fax machine with external telephone
If you are operating your Minoltafax 1400 together with an external
telephone apparatus and you answer a fax machine by phone, you must
manually transfer this fax transmission to your fax machine.
Transferring an incoming fax transmission from your external telephone to
your fax machine.
Please observe the following:
G You can only make use of this function, if the reception mode is set at
MAN or AUTO.
G Forwarding of incoming fax transmissions is not possible with every
telephone model.
1 Press the [3] key twice on your telephone.
2 Place the telephone handset on the hook.
Your fax machine will now accept the transmission.
The respective code to transfer a fax transmission can be individually
programmed via software switch 08.
