Align the cassette at the left
edge of the cassette insertion
slot and check the position of
the bar code.

Ensure that the message "READY" is
displayed on the LCD of the REGIUS
MODEL 190 and that the READY lamp is
illuminated (Blue).

Insert the cassette so that the bar code is
positioned to the left front of the cassette.
• The cassette will be transported into the
unit automatically, then the bar code will be
read.
• The READY lamp is extinguished while the
cassette is being fed into the unit.
• Once the cassette is fully transported into
the REGIUS MODEL 190, the READY lamp
will again illuminate. At this point, another
cassette (+1 stack) may be inserted into the
cassette insertion slot.
The next cassette to be inserted can be stacked in the cassette insertion slot.
(+1 stack feature)
If the cassette is removed by pushing the [eject] button once after insertion, the
"READY" lamp will flash for five seconds during which time no further cassettes will
be accepted.
Insert the cassette after the "READY" lamp changes from "flashing" to "Illuminated".
Before inserting the cassette, be sure to remove any paper attached to the memo
clip or magnet marker attached to the back panel.
If the registration error message shown at right is
displayed after the cassette is inserted, the cassette may
not be registered. Check whether or not the cassette is
registered on the CS-1/CS-2/CS-3 operation unit.
If the registration error message is displayed even
though the cassette is registered, check for dirt on the
bar code of the cassette.
