EXPLANATION OF COMPONENTS

OPERATION

PW160-7H VEAM390100

1. ENGINE WATER TEMPERATURE MONITOR

This monitor (1) warns the operator that the engine water temper-
ature has risen.

If the engine water temperature becomes abnormally high, the
monitor lights up red, the overheat prevention system is automati-
cally actuated, and the engine speed goes down.

Stop operations and run the engine at low idle until monitor (1)
changes to green.

2. HYDRAULIC OIL TEMPERATURE MONITOR

This monitor (2) warns the operator that the hydraulic oil tempera-
ture has risen. If it lights up red during operations, run the engine
at low idle or stop the engine and wait until the oil temperature
goes down and the monitor changes to green.

3. ENGINE OIL PRESSURE MONITOR

This monitor (3) lights up red if the engine lubrication oil pressure
goes below the normal level. If it lights up red, stop the engine,
and check the lubrication system and the level of oil in the oil pan.

REMARK

When the starting switch is ON, this lamp remains illumi-

nated, and after the engine starts, it goes out. When the engine
starts, the buzzer sounds momentarily, but this is not an abnor-
mality.
