OPERATIONS AND CHECKS BEFORE STARTING ENGINE

PW160-7H VEAM390100

2.

Lower the safety lock lever to the UNLOCK position, switch
OFF the control lever lock switch and raise the bucket from
the ground.

3.

Operate bucket control - right control lever, and arm control -
left control lever (slowly to move the bucket cylinder and arm
cylinder to the end of the stroke.

4.

Carry out bucket and arm operation for 5 minutes at full
stroke, alternating between bucket operation and arm opera-
tion at 30 second intervals.
If the swing lock switch (12) is set to the ON (actuated) posi-
tion and swing control lever is operated at full stroke, oil tem-
perature rise can be increased quicker.

NOTICE

When the work equipment is retracted, take care that it

does not interfere with the machine body or ground.
