Operation and Maintenance Manual

Operating fluids and maintenance

Maintenance activities

Fig. 58: Filter insert

Release socket head screws

(M8 10.9).

Remove filter insert

Dispose of filter insert

(observe country-specific regulations).

Fit the new filter insert

and sealing rings.

Tighten socket head screws

(M8 10.9).

Install the crankcase ventilation

Tighten hex screws

(M8 8.8).

Fasten line

Tighten hose clips

While another person operates the turning device,

lay on new V-ribbed belt (crankcase breather)

and ensure it is correctly

seated.

Install the bracket

. (Please refer to the chapter on “Changing the crankcase

breather belt” for the procedure.)

Mount belt (fan)

. (For the procedure, please refer to the chapter “Check state

of fan drive belt drive, replace if necessary”.)

Mount fan on the fan drive

. See the generator set’s operating manual.
