WARNING
Explosive Fuel can cause
fi
res
and severe burns.
Do not
fi
ll the fuel tank while the
engine is hot or running.
Explosive Fuel!
Gasoline is extremely
fl
ammable and its vapors can explode
if ignited. Store gasoline only in approved containers, in well
ventilated, unoccupied buildings, away from sparks or
fl
ames.
Do not
fi
ll the fuel tank while the engine is hot or running,
since spilled fuel could ignite if it comes in contact with hot
parts or sparks from ignition. Do not start the engine near
spilled fuel. Never use gasoline as a cleaning agent.

3. Connect the in-line 10 micron EFI fuel
fi
lter and
hose to the inlet barb of the li
ft
fuel pump and
secure with the spring clamp.
NOTE:
Some applications may have two in-line fuel
fi
lters. In those applications, connect the in-
line 51-75 micron mesh fuel
fi
lter and hose
to the inlet barb of the li
ft
fuel pump and
secure with a spring clamp. The in-line 10
micron EFI paper fuel
fi
lter and hose must
be connected to the outlet barb of the li
ft
fuel
pump and secured with a spring clamp. See
Figure 10-72.

ange screws. Torque
to M6 screws to
7.3 N·m (68 in. lb.)
into new
holes or
6.2 N·m (55 in. lb.)
into used holes. See
Figure 10-73.
