Safety instructions
• Only unplug from the power socket can
separate the product completely from the
mains. Please be sure that the power plug is
in operable condition.
• Avoid damages to the power cord that may
be caused by kinks or contact with sharp
corners.
• Keep this product including power cord and
power plug away from all heat sources like
for example, ovens, hot plates and other
heat-producing products/objects.
• Only unplug from the power socket by the
plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.
• Unplug the product ...
- when the product is not being used,
- in case of malfunctions,
- before attaching / detaching accessories
and
- before cleaning the product.
• Use this product in dry indoor areas only and
never outdoors.
• Place the product on a flat, sturdy and slip-
resistant surface.
• Never use, expose or put the product near to:
- direct sunlight and dust;
- fire (fireplace, grill, candles), water (water
splashes, vases, ponds, bath tube) or heavy
moisture.
• This product is not intended for commercial
use. It is designed for household use and
similar applications only, such as for example:
- in employee cafeterias, in stores, offices
and other working environments;
- by customers in hotels, motels and other
residential facilities;
- in Bed and Breakfast establishments;
- in farm houses.”
• Risk of burning! The product’s housing
becomes very hot during use. Touch the
thermo jug only by its handle.
• Do not move or transport the product during
use or while there is hot water in the thermo
jug. Spraying hot water poses a risk of
burning.
• Never place the thermo jug on a hot stove
top, hotplate or other heat source.
• Do not disassemble the thermo jug.
• Never submerge the thermo jug in water or
other liquids to prevent water from entering
the space between the interior and exterior
walls.
• The thermo jug is not dishwasher-safe.
• Never use the thermo jug if it is damaged.
Handle the thermo jug carefully.
• Cease using the thermo jug if the handle is
loosened or lost its stability.
• The thermo jug is intended exclusively for
use with this coffee maker.
• Never attempt to replace parts yourself. If a
part needs to be replaced, contact authorised
service agent.
• Make sure not to overfill the water tank.
• Do not operate the product when there is no
water in the water tank.
• Fill the product with water only when it is
unplugged.
• Clean the product and all other accessories
after each use.
