Switching the appliance on and off
WarmMaster with timer:
Two operating modes can be selected on
the timer starting from the OFF position (0).
Permanent operation
Turn the knob to permanent operation in
an anticlockwise direction. This switch po-
sition is required for dejuicing or keeping
drinks warm for longer periods. There is no
automatic switch-off in this mode. The
lamp illuminates constantly.
Automatic operation
The clock has a total running time of 2
hours. It monitors the required preservation
time and temperature together with the
temperature controller. The time set on the
clock only starts to count down when the
preselected temperature is reached i.e. the
heat-up time is not counted. The remaining
preservation time can be read from the
knob at any time. Once the time is over,
the appliance automatically switches off
and the indicator lamp goes out. The re-
maining time can be corrected using the
knob at any time.
If the temperature setting needs to be cor-
rected during the heat-up time, please pro-
ceed as follows:
1. Turn the timer knob back to (0) and the
indicator lamp goes out.
2. Reset the temperature controller to the
required temperature.
3. Set the timer knob to the required pre-
servation time.
WarmMaster:
• Set the temperature controller (6) to the
required temperature. The appliance
starts to heat-up once the temperature
controller is set. The indicator lamp goes
out for the first time as soon as the re-
quired temperature is reached. During
the preservation time that now starts,
the set temperature is kept almost con-
stant by the temperature controller
switching the heating on for a short time.
This can be recognised by the indicator
lamp being illuminated.
Warm Master with spout:
• The only difference to the standard
preserver is the spout, which can be
used to directly fill drinks into the cup or
glass.
The spout can be removed to clean.
Unscrew the chrome-plated cap under
the grip piece. Only tighten the screw-
connections by hand during assembly.
Switching the appliance off.
Turn the temperature controller (6) back
fully (in an anticlockwise direction). Also pull
out the plug after use.
Preserving
Follow the basic rules and instructions:
• Take the basic rules for preserving from
a cook book or read the special instructi-
ons in the respective recipes. The proce-
dures also apply to use of this appliance.
Rack (not included in the delivery):
• Place the jars closed with clips on a rack.
A maximum of fourteen 1 litre jam jars up
to 11.5 cm diameter can be sterilized
and preserved in two layers on top of
each other with the appliance.
Note:
Only used the rack intended for this
appliance (see list of accessories). Galvani-
sed sieves and rod inserts are not suitable
because faulty switching can be caused
due to a lack of circulation under the in-
serts. Fill up with water until the top jars are
standing approx. 3/4 in water. When using
two layers, the jars below must be sealed
tight with clips to prevent water from pene-
trating.
