5. Press the menu button again to leave the menu.
4.1.6 White balance
Use the white balance option to correct color for different
light-ing conditions. When white balance is set to auto, the
camera automatically compensates for different lighting
conditions. You can also set white balance to sunlight, cloudy,
tungsten, or fluorescent light.
Note: The white balance option can only be changed when
the camera mode is set to manual. See “Camera
mode” on

To set the white balance:
1. Turn the camera on and ensure that it is in Photo mode.
2. Press the menu button.
3. Use the joystick to highlight the WB option.
4. Use the joystick to select Auto, sunlight, cloudy, tungsten,
or fluorescent light.
5. Press the menu button again to leave the menu.
4.1.7 Focus selection
Use the focus selection option to determine where the camera
focuses. The focus selection can be set to center, left, right, top,
or bottom.
Note: The focus selection option can only be changed
when the camera mode is set to manual. See “Cam-
