3.4.3 Using the macro function
The macro function enables you to capture images of subjects
very close to the lens. In macro mode you can focus on subjects
as close as 6 cm. When not in macro mode the minimum dis-
tance is 18 cm. Use macro mode for subjects 6-18 cm from the
camera.
To switch the macro function on, press the joystick down. An
icon will appear to indicate macro mode. Press the joystick
down again to leave macro mode. The macro function can be
used in Video mode the same as in Photo mode.
