Power switch

Slide the power switch to the right side and 

hold it until the LCD indicator begins flashing 

green. It takes about 2 seconds to power on 

the camera. 

 

 

 

The lens barrel will not extend if the camera is turned on while the Mode 
dial is set to Playback mode.
