WARNING
Never operate the chain saw without saw chain oil. The use of the chain saw without enough saw
chain oil will damage the unit.
Only use special saw chain oil. Other oils will run the risk of damaging the unit and voiding the
warranty.
Take note of temperature conditions. Using the saw at various temperatures requires the use of
differing oils. To ensure a sufficient layer of lubricant at lower temperatures, use liquid oil (low
viscosity).
SAW CHAIN LUBRICATION
1. Place the chain saw on a level surface. Clean the area around the oil tank cap and then open it.
2. Fill the oil tank with saw chain oil. In doing so, make sure that no dirt gets into the oil tank so that
the oil nozzle does not clog.
3. Close the oil tank cap.
FILLING THE OIL TANK
NOTE:
It is normal for oil to seep from the saw when not in use. To prevent fire disaster, clean the
oozy oil by a cloth when filling the oil, empty the oil tank after each use. When storing the unit for a
long period of time (3 months or longer), be sure the chain is lightly lubricated.
The chain saw is NOT supplied filled with oil. It is essential to fill with oil before use.Never operate
the chain saw without chain oil or at an empty oil tank level, as this will result in extensive damage
to the product. Chain life and cutting capacity depends on optimum lubrication. Therefore, the chain
is automatically oiled during operation via the oil outlet.
