OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Basic limbing,felling,woodcutting,and remove buttress roots. All of the wooden objects intended to
be cut with this chain saw should be no thicker than the guide bar's maximum cutting capabilities.
• Wear safety goggles or other suitable eye protection, hearing protection, long pants,and shoes.
• Do not use it for cutting metals,plastic and other commercial use.
IMPORTANT:
This appliance is intended for outdoor, residential use only. Do not use it indoors or
for commercial or industrial purposes.
This appliance is for household use only.
• In some countries regulations define at what time of the day and on what special days products
are allowed to be used and what restrictions apply! Ask your community for detailed information
and observe the regulations in order to preserve a peaceful neighborhood and avoid committing
administrative offences.
NOTE :
The chain saw is intended for operators near the ground and not on ladders or
other unstable surfaces.
NOTE :
If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer
or his agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.
CAUTION:
When using an extension cord, make sure to use one heavy enough to carry the
current your product will draw. For lengths less than 50 ft (15 m), a No.14 AWG (or No.12)
extension cord should be used. An undersized cord will cause a drop-in line voltage resulting in loss
of power and overheating.
CONNECTING TO POWER SUPPLY, CABLING, FUSING, SOCKET TYPE AND EARTHING
REQUIREMENTS
Use only an extension cord recommended for outdoor use.
Insert the power plug of the chain saw into the extension cord.
Secure the extension cord to the appliance using the molded in cord-lock feature.
Plug the extension cord into the power supply.
STARTING AND STOPPING
1. STARTING/STOPPING THE CHAIN SAW
• Ensure that the chain saw is connected to the power supply.
• For switching on the chain saw, press the lock-off button, then fully press the switch trigger and
hold in this position. The lock-off button can now be released.
• For switching off, release the switch trigger.
• Do not stop the chainsaw after sawing by activating the front hand guard (chain brake).
