These instructions should be read carefully and retained after installation by the end user for future
reference and maintenance.
These instructions should be used to aid installation of the following product:
DT004 – Wireless Smoke Alarm with Heat Detection

INSTALLATION
• Installation of this alarm should be carried out by a competent person to the current Building
Regulations
• When choosing the installation location, ensure the alarm(s) can be heard from all rooms in the
building
• This alarm must be mounted on a ceiling or wall
1. Speaker
2. Red LED indicator
3. Test/Reset button
4. Base mounting bracket
• Remove the base mounting bracket from alarm by rotating base anti-clockwise
• Fix 2 AA batteries into the battery compartment (supplied)
• It is recommended that an alarm is installed in all the stairways and on every floor in the property
• Centre point of the ceiling would be an ideal location to install the alarm. If this cannot be achieved
then please see Fig 2 and Fig 3 for details
