Step 3
- Place the ceiling plate against the ceiling and line up the mounting holes with the drilled ones.
- For each hole use the W-C washers (2) and insert the W-A wood screws (2) to attach the ceiling plate
to the wooden stud.
- Once all screws are in place, tighten each screw with a Phillips screwdriver until the ceiling plate is
secured against the ceiling, but do not over tighten the screws.
Concrete ceiling installation
Note:
You can install the projector mount to any concrete surface with a minimum 6˝ thickness. For
concrete installation, use concrete wedge anchors (¼˝ recommended) to secure the mounting
hardware, and a masonry drill bit to drill the pilot holes. Wedge anchors and masonry drill bits are not
supplied, but you can purchase them at your local hardware store.
Step 1
- Place the ceiling plate into position against the ceiling.
- Using the ceiling plate as a template, mark off four (4) mounting holes to be used for securing the
mount, and place the ceiling plate aside.
Step 2
- Drill a pilot hole in the center of each mark using a hand held drill and a 3/18˝ (10mm) drill bit.
- Insert the W-B concrete anchors (4) into each hole until they are leveled with the concrete surface. If
necessary, a hammer can be used to lightly tap each anchor into place until they are leveled with
the ceiling.
