For using Subwoofers
with XO, set switch on
the back to 'XO OFF'
The switch XO on the connecting terminal of the subwoofer must be at XO ‘OFF’ for
this mode of operation:
Switch on the subwoofers’ connecting terminal
The countersunk switch ‘Full-Range Mode’ on the C2 Controller should not be pressed
and the LED assigned to it should not light up.
If you are using the mid-high systems in a cluster (speakers in close proximity), press the
‘Top Low Cut’ switch on the C2 Controller.
Advantages of the active mod:
−
Possibility to separately adjust the level of the subwoofer.
−
The mid-high systems do not receive any low-frequency signals and are not as
strained.
−
Higher achievable total sound power level.
−
While taking the various mid-high systems, the frequency response of the system
can be optimised application-specifically.
−
The C2 Controller optimises the operating safety through special limiters.
